Average daily maximum is 18°C (64°F) in winter and 26°C (79°F) in summer. We enjoy a very high proportion of sunny days and with generally steady, rather than heavy rainfall. Our macadamias fill with oil over a longer period and under conditions of minimum stress. Most local macadamia trees grow right alongside the same Australian rainforests in which the indigenous macadamias grew for millions of years, and well before commercial production commenced.
